Double Shot

Two girls … two guys. Two halves of two top vocal groups blended together to create a hot, strong and tasty a cappella concoction: Double Shot.

Although a fresh new flavour on the Australian a cappella scene, Double Shot comprises four singers who have a wealth of vocal harmony experience, both locally and overseas. Vicki Dwyer (soprano) and Vicki Sutton (alto) have been singing together for a number of years in the current (and 4-time!) Australian gold medal Sweet Adeline quartet, Accolade. Similarly, Tony Sykes (tenor/bass) and Guy Gibson (bass/tenor) have sung together for many years in various vocal groups, most recently in the former national champion barbershop quartet, Freefall.  All four have sung at venues around the country and represented Australia on international harmony competition stages in the United States.

Double Shot are all about making exciting vocal music with great performances. With a repertoire covering contemporary, pop, jazz and barbershop, Double Shot deliver a solid helping of entertaining harmony.
